I was born and raised on a dairy farm near Ogden. I read the Standard Examiner obituaries every day to see if my name is listed and to see who of my friends might be there.
In general terms they have always been slightly to the left except when it comes to the church...Then they follow. Once in a while they take a point of view to expose the bad, bad Mormons that have gotten in trouble.
This time they are on the team for the crutch. No doubt about it.
HA! That would be a neat trick.
Thanks for the background on the paper, it helps to have some perspective on where they've been and where they're going.
