Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- In response to a video of a California man's dispute with airport security officials, the Transportation Security Administration said Monday it tries to be sensitive to individuals, but everyone getting on a flight must be screened.
The video, in which software engineer John Tyner refuses an X-ray scan at the San Diego, California, airport, has sparked a debate over screening procedures.

Wow, you’re a douche...
I have every expectation that somewhere there is a TSA directive to their groping misfit Smurfs telling them to not pat down Muslims.
OOOOHHH! That T-shirt would be awesome for my trip in Dec! Visions of peeling it off while I’m in line dance through my head...
Walking into an airport doesn't mean the TSA, or the federal government for that matter, owns you. You should still have the option of walking away.
Go there in drag...in religious habit...in burka....go and overwhelm the system with shenanigans. Take along video AND audio recording devices. Have bail funds in reserve. :)
Mecca 2013?
You’re speaking of the progressivist male drama queens who support this nonsense by the TSA.
If you run into one of them, inform him that the the reason marxists live their lives trying to prove their superiority is that they know deep down they have chosen a vastly flawed ideology. This is proven by the fact that socialists are forever plagued by the knowledge that they cannot, due to sheer weakness, come out in the open and stand up for their beliefs.
That’s just their damned arrogance.
Never had problems with my wife getting groped. Security seems pretty easy to me. Stick stuff in the scanner, go through the scanner...done.
Not exactly difficult. I hate waiting in the lines, but I don’t fly much. I can deal with doing it once or twice a year.
Now, some people DO get more then they should, such as pat-downs, random screenings etc. But, hasn’t happened to us yet at least.
1. Everyone is NOT getting screened.
2. We're seeing evidence of political correctness in the security system, putting our lives at risk for YOUR insane political morality.
3.Your "screening", your security theory, your security practices are simply foolish. We don't have a screening procedure, we have a system for bothering people.
4. Obama an the Democrats have used up the goodwill of the American People.
Change it starting now, or be swept away. You have months, that's it.
You haven’t a clue what cowboying up means, sweetie poison pie. It means putting the screws to the source of the trouble, the Slammies.
I suspect men who think this is ok are a bunch of pedophiles and/or homosexuals that like men touching thier junk.
See what I did there?
You're like that drunk guy who comes home at 4:00 in the morning and says to his frowning wife, "I can explain the lipstick on my collar dear ... I used my shirt to wipe my pecker!"
A marxists police state is not “security.”
Common sense would have solved the problem, yet it has been entirely absent from any policy-level planning.
This is one more reason we need Sarah Palin as president. Not long ago, she stated in an interview that profiling is the answer to security problems.
If you don’t understand this, I will reassign your IQ at a new level 35 points lower.
Well, that's like gun control laws. They're not meant to deter criminals, but to harass honest citizens. And ultimately, the purpose of harassing honest citizens is to give the politicians the ability to say that they're "doing something" about crime.
This is a police state.
Dogs, dogs, where are the dogs. There are new explosives that existing dog training has not yet used, but nothing known to man that a dog can’t be trained to identify.
“I suspect men who think this is ok are a bunch of pedophiles and/or homosexuals that like men touching thier junk.”
You nailed it, fqc.
The truth is hard to face, but they’ve got to do it sooner or later.
