But can I play the songs backwards on an iPod? Didn’t think so. I’m stickin’ to rekkids. Old vinyl rekkids.

Does that twit Yoko Ono get anything from the sale of these songs? If so, count me OUT!

Didn’t Michael Jackson own the rights or something like that?

Maybe Yoko had the doctor put a hit out on Michael Jackson so she could sell the Beatles music on iTunes? Anyone ever think of that one? Yoko is gonna get richer than rich. Maybe even richer than George Soros.

Micheal owned Lennon’s rights for a while, but sold them during his bankruptcy and I think McCarthy bought them.

I’m still suspicious as to why John got shot and Yoko didn’t.
Who stood to gain the most from John’s death, and Yoko knew about John’s previous affairs.

Apple iTunes, at Long Last, Gets Rights to BeatlesThat is the day that we will never forget? I have already forgotten it.
Streaming music from the cloud would be a better announcement.

Apple Inc. is preparing to announce that its iTunes Store will soon start carrying music by the Beatles, according to people familiar with the situation, a move that would fill in a glaring gap in the collection of the world's largest music retailer.
Anyone who wants Beatles music on their iPods/iPhones already has it. The only real story is how much revenue the Beatles rights-owners have lost by taking so long.

Ooooookay?
CD + Rip + Sync = Beatles catalog...8 years ago!

I still have my old reel-to-reel version of Abbey Road lying around somewhere, I’ve heard copies of original reel-to-reels can fetch up to $100 on eBay.

YAWN...I ripped my Beatles catalog to MP3 many, many moons ago from CDs I either already owned or borrowed from the library. Would have happily purchased legal MP3s from the Apple store from albums I didn’t already own had they been available but alas, those elusive Beatles were too late to the party.
