Yup.
I’ll have to politely step out of your way. I think you under estimate what’s ahead and who will follow you. But I will let you take as much gunpowder and provisions as you think you can make use of :-)
You have pointed out the basic problem:
PERSONAL AMBITION.
The TEA party is a great concept as along as it sticks to promoting PRINCIPLES and NOT PEOPLE.
Every member of the TEA party has a right to express his or her opinion, but when personal ambition began to take over, that’s when problems start. Thus, so long as the TEA party has no official spokesperson, it will remain a potent movement.
Thankyouverymuch, kind sir. I fully intend to do so.
You have to decide what your priorities are. Do you want to dethrone the anti-Consitutional elites that rule, or not? Your choice.
Godspeed! Cry havoc and let slip loose the dogs of war!!!!
I lurked long before I joined. I am fully aware of Jim’s goals and in agreement. How we get there we don’t necessarily always agree.
Wow. You’re good.
That’s excellent. Keep up the good work. We’re there with you.
[Do you want to dethrone the anti-Consitutional elites that rule]
Not gonna get there by empowering the “Fiscally Conservative” fraudsters who demoralized this country and taught folks being moral was passe — and LYING on their mortgage application was “Fiscally Conservative... because everybody was doing it.
By the time they’d finish - I expect there wouldn’t be a regulator left in the Federal Government; which would make the fraud-producing organized criminal thieves in the systemically corrupt financial industry very happy - but those of us who get left holding the taxpayer bag for the bailouts, not so much.
Too bad the internet wasn't around 160 years ago.
Here's what they would have been saying:
I can assure you that it is ONLY due to the neutrality of the Whig Party on social issues (e.g. slavery) that so many independents voted Whig Party this last election. Break that neutrality, and you break the Whig Party coalition. It's as simple as that. How much you like it is irrelevant.
Yep, it worked wonders for the Whigs.
And I will guaranFREEPINGtee you that if the tea party invites homosexual or abortionist activist groups into its midst or otherwise acquiesces to their demands or Marxist agenda then it’s all over but the crying for the tea party!!
Do you actually have a list you are keeping?
I’m amazed at the number of folks who don’t get that the *social* (in reality moral) issues are tied in with everything else.
There’s just no way to fix only the fiscal. They go hand in hand.
When people are moral, they do what is right, there’s no need for the government to step in and make them do it and they contribute to society instead of leeching off of it.
Civilizations fall from within; from the moral rot that destroys them, just like it did to the Roman Empire.
Years ago, I recall reading warnings that this was coming on our country, too. There’s precedent for it in history. They were right.
Stick with what is most urgent and pressing - fiscal issues, liberty, and stopping limiting the growth of the govt slavery.
To start now with the social slavery stuff would completely reverse everything accomplished so far.
Yep, that's a winner.
Until all power reserved for the states is given back, social issues must be fought on the national level.
