...that’s what it’s all about, lowering the bar. Cr%p, Hell, Damn, J.C. all seem to be acceptible now. My Mother would’ve “knocked me into next week” for using ANY of those words.
We call that "undercussing".
Here in Dallas, they frequently had Barry Switzer on the radio, and he was always full of 'Hells' and 'Damns', it became part of the schtick.
