My wife and I watched last night. It is a travel show, hosted by a person of remarkable energy and character. She comes across as being...well,...NORMAL. She is indeed one of us, and very genuine.
My wife, who detests politics, loves Sarah Palin for all those reasons.
So what if she struggled at rock climbing. I don’t know many other people who would air land on a glacier, walk across it and go try to climb the rock. More power to her.

The family intimacy and conversations...do indicate it is a reality show. There is nothing wrong with that.
I do not think it is a documentary.
I enjoyed what I saw. In HD, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL.
