Clownitano & TSA’s credibility problem

Readers know I’ve been one of DHS Secretary Janet Clownitano’s most vocal critics — dating back to 2006, when she supported a disgraceful 9/11 memorial in Arizona poisoned by left-wing radicalism, through 2008, when the shamnesty wolf in enforcement clothing was tapped by Obama to head DHS, and, of course, over the past two years as she demonized conservative activists, botched 9/11 history, and turned homeland security into a bigger joke that it already has been.

J-Nap is now the focus of a massive national backlash over the new, invasive TSA screening procedures. She takes to the pages of USA Today to defend herself:

I was having a discussion with some Minneapolis liberals about DHS. Believe it or not, they agreed that DHS, especially TSA, has turned into one big charlie foxtrot.

She’s also a pervert. Now all the people she’s in charge of are doing perverted things to passengers. Things if strangers did to us, we’d be able to file sexual assault/child molestation charges against them.

Remember also that almost ALL the TSA folks today were minimum-wage, non-union baggage screeners with no police powers before 9/11. Once the govt “wished them” into “officers” that should have been everyone’s first sign this was going to get ugly.

These are the kinds of people that never should have been given any police powers. They are NOT officers and never have been, no matter what status they hold. They are glorified baggage handlers that get off on using the power they’ve got. Their mission in life is to hammer down on people who don’t want a naked scan or body pat down, not finding terrorists. They’ve been abusing their powers ever since, and their attitude they display about what they do, and you having no recourse, but being fined for deciding not to fly if you get pulled for a prison search, proves it.

I worked in AZ when she was Gov. and remember her being very butch, very liberal and bankrupting AZ as Governor.

She gave out rebates on “dual fuel” “green” vehicles. The legislation she supported paid a huge tax rebate off the price of these vehicles (IIRC 40%)and the dealerships were all flooded with orders to put small alt fuel systems on.

Of course all the vehicles I saw were big 4x4 SUV’s and trucks mostly. All very expensive, top of the line units, too. This was taken advantage of by LOTS of wealthy Dems who treated it like a freebee from Gov. Jan. Buy a new truck and get 40% rebate from the state.

The repercussions of this and other misguided liberal policies of hers left AZ broke. She will not stop doing this to us and more. I want house hearings, now. She must be fired before she does more damage.

By complicating the flying public’s life to the point of frustration anger and insurrection; business suffers, airlines go bankrupt and people get violent. Israel has a pretty good handle on their aircraft security problem and Israeli security agents don't feel they have to sexually assault passengers or subject them to dangerous Xray bombardment. Their approach is psychological and profiling. They have had no incidents since they instituted it.Of course they do not begin with an assumption that it is necessary for social control to humiliate the citizenssubjects. They do not feel any necessity to make the population feel like powerless insects.
