My ancestors faced that problem in the 1880’s when they moved to this county in TX.

If they'd only drilled a little deeper for that water...

Water was a scarce commodity then, but they survived that.

The oil. My uncle and father have a couple of wells in common now. My grandmother had a well that was produced for 20+ years. Not big, but it helps, expecially now that the price is high.
