I lurked here in '03 after my son went to Iraq. The war was hot-and-heavy and I wasn't getting good info from the lame-stream. FR filled that void with the knowledge of our great Freepers!
I agree with ALL your points and am steering as many active duty military people, (and others), as I can to this sight....so long as they are REAL conservatives.
