Which makes it just fine with the sheeple who don't mind giving up their rights to be a little "safer" and thereby teaching their children the same. Not to mention that children are now to be taught that SOME types of unpleasant touches by scary people are alright and must be endured.
No disrespect, but we teach our children this every time we take them to the doctor. My son had to have a hernia check for his first sports physical at age 7 and has had one almost every year since. (Last year it was a female doctor and he was 16 - much to his horror.) My son was frisked by a security guard in order to get into a concert on Ft Hood a couple of years ago. My daughter's been touched by the medical community to the point where she's numb.
I'm sorry but our kids are manhandled by adults from the time they're born. They trust *us* to tell them when it's OK or not.
There are *many* on FR who want to bring back corporal punishment in public schools. IMHO, that is 100 times worse than an airport pat-down where at least a parent is present to supervise.
Right on! Sick that Americans would rationalize and tolerate this abuse. Espeically ones that claim to be conservatives on a website dedicated to the cause of protecting constitutional freedom. Things have gotten twisted and people need to re-evaluate where we have traveled. The terrorists were successful in stripping freedom from the US.
