Are you suggesting the government is the tool to exercise God’s will? I’m certain the founders would not agree with you. If people are unwilling to submit to the Lord then they deserve their fate.
Obviously no one should be forced to believe in God, worship Him or serve Him in any way.
But the basic foundation of human civilization are the moral absolutes that are oddly enough practically the same in every monotheist religion and even ones that aren’t such as Buddhism.
You are mixing the two, which is blindness on your part.
Absolutely not! And it was also never intended to be a tool for evil! They cannot FORCE atheism or abortion or homosexual marriage on us any more than they can legally take away our guns or over tax us or force us to buy an insurance policy against our will.
America was founded on the principle that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, and that among these are the rights to Life and Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness!! Look it up!
