It doesn’t make us feel better at all....precisely because, in the long run, it has done more harm than good.

Hubby says that he would have felt MUCH better helping others to invest and grow their earnings too....if we had been ALLOWED to do so. Unfortunately, it was not an option.

I know disabed people ....I also know fat asses who got a lawyer to get them onto the system and are receiving high SS payments due to their "disability" ...yet they travel, gamble,have sports cars, etc....

these are the creeps we support....

I wish we could blame all this on the liberals. But Republicans quickly learned it was easier to get elected by telling people they could have government benefits without paying for them. Cheney even came to believe in magic, saying that “Reagan taught us that deficits don’t matter.” So instead of tightening our belts and putting money away for the future that is now upon us, we gave ourselves tax cuts and ever more government benefits.
