Why was it ridiculous? My thought was (other than the obvious point that it's headed easterly ... oops! Say ... how long do you think it will take somebody to conjure up a legit flight heading northwest as a plausible explanation? I mean, they can't quite change the sun or start reversing negatives, so ...) ... anyway, I figured, because of watching planes, that again, it would be high, but not so high you couldn't definitively ID it as a plane with visual aid or magnification -- like a pair of binoculars.
one of those big jets significanly drops speed and altitude approaching busy airspace to land at an airport 125 miles away, doesn’t it? I mean, way too low and slow to be mistaken for a missile by anyone who’s actually SEEN a missile?
