There is boat traffic out in that are where the missile supposedly lifted off from. Why didn’t any people on ships in the area come forward to tell people what they saw?

What the heck do ships have to do with airborne missiles ? You ever been on a ship ? You are usually looking out a small window at the ocean surface, if you are lucky. BTW, no airline pilots reported seeing a cruise ship disabled either.

One does suppose that as big as this missile would have to have been (2 degrees on the horizon) that any people on boats near enough to see it take off would have been turned into crispy critters and their boats sunk.
By now the Coast Guard would be swamped with missing persons reports! Others would be on the scene in their own boats frantically searching for any sign of their missing relatives.
Oh, the humanity!
