Show me an example then instead of that pic. The widest contrail in that pic is not a mile wide and, more to the point, it is very thin and wispy. It bears no comparison with the contrail in the video does it?

The contrail clearly doesn't reach the horizon ~ but it does approach the horizon and that means 1 of 2 things.

(1) That it started many miles farther West ~ toward Hawaii, and is an airplane coming into the LA area to land at an airport in the region.

(2) That it's a really gigantic rocket that did not take off from a submarine or other launch vehicle on or in the ocean but simply hovered above the surface a couple of thousand feet until its operators decided to "take off" ~ and it's about a mile wide! How tall is it? Not enough info for that.

What you need to do is demonstrate how wide the contrail is at it's OLDEST extent, and how it got that way. I've taken my shot at it, and lo and behold the answer I get is that it's HUGE ~ kind of consistent with what the General said ~ wasn't it something like "really big rocket" and he laughs.

Yup, a really big rocket. It's not even in the same class as a Saturn V, or even a cluster of Saturn V's ~ it's "really big" Laugh laugh laugh laugh.

Now, get cracking on a counter proposal. All the info is in the video to enable you to work it out.
