Here is my first photo that I asked everyone about:
Tell me, do you really think that this is an airliner and not a missile launch, as the Jane's expert is calling it and as the former Under Secretary of Defense is calling it???

If you look toward the “start” of the plume you will see the wind has spread it out. That is what happens at altitudes where high winds occur. It does not happen at ground level. It also takes time to create that effect, and a missile doesn't move that slowly. This bird has stayed at the same altitude for some time, allowing the wind to do its work.
I have tracked many aircraft that when viewed through a camera lense seem to leave a solid rocket plume behind it, even though they are jet powered, just like this one. This is merely a trick of the eye.
Sorry, its just a plane doing what planes do when traveling through a moist front. Makes for neat photography.
