Do you KNOW there was no radar track? Or that the official at the FAA SAID there was no radar track?
Folks, if someone managed to light a candle 30 miles off the Los Angeles coast, do you really thing the US government would admit it???
Think about what might happen if they did. Mass panic? A run on the banks? Riots?
Note I said “might happen”. Then ask yourself, what is likely written into the contingency plans for such an event?
1. There was no radar track from the FAA Los Angeles Regional Radar, Point Mugu NAS, Vandenberg AFB, Marin County regional radar, or San Francisco radar. You can't really believe every radar operator has been shut up?
2. The DSP satellites which can detect the launch of a model rocket and send alerts to several command centers did not detect a launch. The military doesn't give a damn about political correctness when it comes to someone launching in our back yard. Every missile would have gone on alert.
3. Not one aircraft, ship, police officer, or surfer reported a launch. Are you suggesting that every surfer on the west coast has been told to keep quiet?
The radar issue alone is one insurmountable fact. The plume of a solid-rocket exhaust contains aluminum oxide particles which reflect radar. If it was not water (as in a contrail) the plume would have stuck out on every radar on the west coast. Now make up an excuse for that one.....
