Does not matter what could potentially confuse him. He would run out of fuel one day. If anyone has the ability to judge distances properly, it is a Helicopter Pilot. And 100 mile trips up and down the coast here are really not rare. And the multi-Basin region here is not the flat corn fields of Iowa.
