If Obama left world leaders questioning US authority, he might consider it a success. After all, he doesn't accept American exceptionalism and wants the US to be just one nation among many.

Yeah, I don't think he thought that part through. He wants to put in place policies that weaken the U.S., to make all nations equal, but he didn't realize that that means no one has to listen to him anymore. If we're not the strong man in the room, no one will pay us any attention.

I don't think he likes it much when no one listens. His plan is flawed.
