Clinton and Carter are, I believe, quite intelligent.

Jerks, but intelligent jerks.

And don’t even start on the anti-Palin conservatives!

There aren't any anti-Palin conservatives. There are conservatives who think someone else would be better, but if they are simply down on Palin, they're lying about being "conservative".

Palin, if she decides to run, faces a grueling series of challenges -- just like the other candidates. Except she'll not benefit from the selective standard that liberals apply when evaluating "their own."

Sarah's been subjected to pure nastiness. It's unprecedented. I would like to vote for her in the Acorn tradition.

a big plus drawing more attention to her and when people see, hear or read her responses she will win more hearts and minds.

It's like a wave building off-shore where it keeps getting bigger and bigger. People will notice her public appearances and the crowds that she draws.

The left fears her (you can tell by the bravado they exhibit when they taunt: "I hope they run Sarah", etc.). Nothing spells fear better than the 'dare' offered by one's opponent.

Remember, the media picked our last candidate and, how did that work out? John thought they loved him.

I want whoever the media and the Left hate and deride- that would be Sarah. I know her to be something this country has needed for a long time- she loves America and all it stands for and has more executive ablility than many previous presidents combined. I'd like to make a couple of bumberstickers:

"I love Sarah Palin because you hate her- that was simple."
"Sarah has never spent twenty months destroying anything, not even health care."
"Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but Sarah will crush Obama".
"Your only chance against Sarah is Hillary. Fat chance."

The polls indicate she’d lose to Obama in a landslide?

Please provide links or at least cite.

The polls indicate she’d lose to Obama in a landslide?

At this stage in 1978, the polls indicated Carter would defeat Reagan in a landslide.

And, if she'd be so easy to beat, why are the Democrats and the MSM scared spitless of her?

I haven’t seen a poll indicating Obama would beat Palin in a landslide. I’d like to see proof. I suspect there isn’t one. This is just another establishment/lefty tactic to scare conservatives into selecting a RINO.

http://politics.usnews.com/news/articles/2010/11/04/poll-obama-would-beat-palin-in-2012.html

President Obama would handily beat Sarah Palin in the next presidential election, despite strong anti-incumbent feelings and the Democrats losing the House to the GOP this week, a new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll indicates.

And while Obama would win against the Tea Party favorite, 52% to 44% among registered voters...

Yes and, the Democrats are more afraid of Sarah Palin then they every was of Reagan!

WHY? Because they will lose the women vote for ever!

5 am news, Boston’s WBZ, CBS outlet: co-anchors sneering at Sarah’s new reality show (with and without makeup), and new book, that she’s avoiding the blue states on her book tour — San Fran., L.A., New England, New York,(where the beautiful people live), prepping to be Presidential? Loud laughter. Then the deer in the headlight look and: “But what if she got elected? She appeals to a certain segment of the voters...(bottom dwellers, you know who you are!)” I paraphrase, but expect Gov. Palin’s image to take another thumping from the MSM. They’re terrified of her.

Well, I’ve had lunch with Carter, and he’s a meathead.

Clinton? Smart? Maybe? But how smart could he to get sexual favors from a kid his daughter’s age? Then lie about and get impeached?

I get your point, but you are confusing intelligence and wisdom.

Highly intelligent people do remarkably stupid things all the time. Oddly enough, women, alcohol and drugs often play a part in these poor choices.

In fact, a highly intelligent guy, being more effective at just about anything he chooses to do, can do stupid things more effectively, getting himself into more hot water faster than a dumb guy.

Just my observation.
