I’m hoping someone can get an unedited copy of the tape and attempt a time/motion analysis to figure the speed that object is traveling, and how fast it may (or may not) be accelerating. I’d also like to see some altitude calculations based on the cloud formations the object appears to be moving past and through.
The tape I’ve seen is chopped and only a couple of seconds long.

I’m certain that the LAX and Vanderburg radar has all that exact information, and that’s why they’re not giving it out!
But, I’ll bet you that they have no aircraft transponder information to co-ordinate with their radar signature, and no pilot voice tapes.
It's not a gimme... conditions aren't always right for con-trails... but given a week or two of trying it should be simple enough to bag an image just like the ones of this event.
Provided, of course, that it was actually an airplane.
