I’ve been on that thread about the contrail over LA. I FIRMLY believe that was an aircraft contrail. This video, however, appears to be an aircraft going several times the speed of sound, if that is actually a contrail anyway.
But I don’t know the focal length of the lens used, or the distances involved.
Thing is, you need to be at altitude to create a contrail. That means the plane has to be so distant that the curvature of the earth brings it down to the level we are seeing in the video. That means it would have to be going in the 4,000 or 5,000 mph range at least. If it were a commercial airliner it would almost appear to be standing still or moving VERY slowly.
This is only my preliminary response, however.
