What about the name GOOGLE ?

That’s not an English word. Is it French, or Russian?

I am surprised Google doesn’t sue all the other search engines like Xerox sued everyone for using xerox instead of ‘copy’.

(for those who don’t remember this, just google ‘XEROX’ on BING or IXQUICK)

Per Wikipedia:

it comes from a misspelling of the word “googol” the number one followed by one hundred zeros, which was meant to signify the amount of information the search engine was to handle
