What are the cancer risks of these scanners for frequent travelers? Do the morons even know??

Zero. It doesn’t use xrays.

The cancer risk is real and grave. The radiation is on for extended times. IF you have had many x-rays etc in your life opt out of being scanned.

According to a thread from the other day, they do increase the risk for cancer especially skin cancers. Of course, they are down playing it.

Two different technologies are used: x-ray "backscatter" and extremely high frequency radio bands (so-called millimeter technology):

There's no actual evidence that these are safe. No long-term animal studies, with higher doses, etc.

In my opinion, only the sheeple allow themselves to be herded through these things, sort of like cattle being driven through a trough full of insecticide to rid them of ticks. I know lots of smart people who refuse to go through them. I certainly won't.
