There was a poster here during the Fl primaries pimping some Doctor no one knew saying Rubio was handpicked by the GOP for the Fl seat and was a RINO.
I hate the term RINO more than any other political term, because it has just become what you call someone who offends your sensibilities nowadays.

It now seems often to pass as a subsitute for thought, a common turn of events when a term is so over-used that it loses its original meaning.
But as with so many other clichés (the term “neo-con” comes to mind), I expect the usage will fade. Five years from now, even political junkies may think it refers to an African beast!
