The only “research” MS did was how to squash your competition and steal “their” research.....
I can remember when Lotus, Borland, Word Perfect were competition for MS Office and they could be had for $39.00.
Once M$ destroyed them the price went to $300-$600.00 for Office . How was that doing much for the poor Bill?
