OK, can’t we be a little lenient here...
What would you expect from a First Lady when she visits a place considered holy by her host?
That does not mean she’s out to convert to Islam or something.... what about donning it as a sign of respect for the religion, nothing more?
And its just a coincidence they cancelled the
Sikh temple visit.
No. Just look at #7. Like she didn't know she was going to take off her shoes yet she wore extra long pants that she had to yank up to prevent tripping over them. Ahhh, so graceful, elegant, and classy - NOT! She's gone from 3 sizes too small shirts to this 3 sizes too large pantsuit. And the fabric! Good grief, the fabric shows every little line. I'll say it again - lining has a purpose, use it.
She's proof if you make ugly faces, your face will freeze that way. And who's to say she isn't already a muslim?
Oh, I have no problem with the idea of wearing a scarf (I take off my shoes when I visit Hindu temples with my husband and relatives in India) BUT the whole point is—MO HAS *NO* DRESS SENSE. NONE. NADA. ZIPPO.
The look on her face (why would a publication worshipping her ‘impeccable dress sense’ post such an unflattering picture?) doesn’t make her look any more ‘elegant’ either.
I think the media is having fun at MO’s expense, they can’t be that blind to this fashion disaster, can they??? :-O
What would be wrong with politely, in private, declining the invitation? I would tell the president of Indonesia that we will not invite him to attend a church in Washington, D.C. if he visits so as to not offend his Muslim beliefs. The President could always pass the buck and say that he would be okay with going to the mosque but that it might offend many of his Christian supporters back in America.

Why is Barak Obama's head not covered? Why does he show no respect?
Oh, that's right, only women have to hide in holy places.
