The Tea Partie groups are not waiting for the establishment to pick anyone. They will support those who subscribe to their principles and take on the establishment if they choose to field their beltway approved candidates. Give them a few months for Marco to sink in before they actually start to know something is up.
Better to work together . . . the Republican party needs to be on notice that there will always be a challenge on the right if they don’t encourage conservative candidates to run. It seems to me that their “formula” has been to pick liberals in the northeast and pacific coast — and it’s been a disaster politically as well as in policy when they won (which is the same thing).
