If you crunch the numbers, as we have, you will find that the average American baby born today will contribute several million dollars to the economy over his or her productive lifetime. Oppose this to the hundred-odd thousand dollars or so that it will cost to raise the child to adulthood, and you see just how valuable an asset these tiny human beings really are. ANYONE who doesn't see that our nation's current problems are directly related to abortion is blind.

Any time you start thinking that the way to improve your life is to murder your neighbor, or his children, it's probably time to take the big jump into the great quantum crunch yourself.
That woman is evil and thoroughly insane.

Of course Richards is smart enough not to say that PP wants to devour our money as well as our children. Instead, she trots out the lame argument that eliminating people will somehow save us all money. Bangs head on desk....
Liberals mental acuity leaves much to be desired.

Whether a person, endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, is an ‘asset’ or a ‘liability’ is irrelevant. Our first step should be to reject the premise of the argument attempting to determine the value of one human to others or to the state. Such accounting equations are for subjects and serfs.

If saving money is really the issue, then promoting pregnancy prevention instead of abortion would have a far greater effect. It costs far less to prevent a pregnancy than to kill a child.
Also, since Cecile Richards seems to think that one can save money by killing people—there are plenty of people who contribute nothing, but receive thousands of taxpayer dollars every year. Does she also want to save money by going into welfare neighborhoods and eliminating everyone on welfare? Maybe round up the homeless and snuff them, as well? Just think of all the money we could save...
