...According to the Associated Press the president "described himself as a "Christian by choice" who arrived at his faith in adulthood because "the precepts of Jesus Christ" helped him envision the kind of life he wanted to lead." Some conservatives and political opponents have questioned Obama's Christian faith... "my mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew, but she didn't raise me in the church"
"So I came to my Christian faith later in life, and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead - being my brothers' and sisters' keeper, treating others as they would treat me," he continued. "And I think also understanding that Jesus Christ dying for my sins spoke to the humility we all have to have as human beings, that we're sinful and we're flawed and we make mistakes, and that we achieve salvation through the grace of God," Obama said. "But what we can do, as flawed as we are, is still see God in other people and do our best to help them find their own grace." If I could be honest, Im really looking for the grace-filled church going Christian these days.
More than a quarter of adult Americans have left the faith of their childhood to join another religion or have exited religion... Could it possibly be the lack of grace thats caused this exodus?... it dawned on me that the churches that once provided a place for the masses of early Christians to worship God had been reduced to museums for viewing a religious experience of a day gone by...
...have we done irreparable damage to the cause of the faith through poor examples of love for others?...

Even Republicans??? Conservatives??? Tea Partiers???
Get out of town.
Hussein is a Christian in name only — at best.
FALSANI:
What do you believe?
OBAMA:
I am a Christian.
So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.
On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences.
I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10.
My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim.
And I’d say, probably, intellectually I’ve drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.
So, I’m rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.

He’s a Muslim.
Period.
If the mussies believed him, it would be grounds for a fatwa.
FALSANI:
Who’s Jesus to you?
(He laughs nervously)
OBAMA:
Right.
Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.
And he’s also a wonderful teacher. I think it’s important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.

FALSANI:
Do you pray often?
OBAMA:
Uh, yeah, I guess I do.
Its’ not formal, me getting on my knees. I think I have an ongoing conversation with God. I think throughout the day, I’m constantly asking myself questions about what I’m doing, why am I doing it.

FALSANI:
Do you have people in your life that you look to for guidance?
OBAMA:
Well, my pastor [Jeremiah Wright] is certainly someone who I have an enormous amount of respect for.
I have a number of friends who are ministers. Reverend Meeks is a close friend and colleague of mine in the state Senate. Father Michael Pfleger is a dear friend, and somebody I interact with closely.

He’s an atheist (secular humanist) with a love for the Islamist system of government.
The author "Pastor Rudy" neglects to discuss the "new" Christianity of Obama's choosing (Jeremiah Wright's church of profane hate).
Talk about poor examples of love for others.
An atheist would never bow to the King of Saudi Arabia.
Because of the misuse of christian, I now call myself a Christ follower. Talk is cheap, but rather look at his actions, they do not match his actions but also his christian talk is twisted.
I’m still going to a Catholic church, but I have to say the “community” is now mostly very cold, unfriendly, unchristian folks...and the rest are leftists. With some overlap.
Who knows what people believe. Are there people in Congress who praise Jesus with every other breath and are really atheists? Of course there are. To tell the truth would mean they wouldn’t have a political career.
He refers repeatedly to The Holy Koran but never refers to his own professed faith’s text as The Holy Bible.
Ping for later
1. Secular humanism. (College/intellectual life)
2. Marxism. (Mentor, influences in childhood and college)
3. Moderate Islam (childhood)
4. Liberation theology (Chicago 'church' he attended)
Nope, Christianity doesn't even appear on the list....
And some of those same Democrats profess to be "Americans" and yet hiss like the devil exposed when someone suggests reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Typically his bold face lie!!!
How could she ever when he was raise by gram TOOT???
