I once saw this documentary about prostitutes. The women were complaining about how they feared for their lives and what the pimp would do if they left the job.

The reporter doing the job paid like a fee to the pimp to set the women free and drove them out of town.

He returned to the same place the next week, and the exact same women were back there. It seems a lot of them are drug addicts, but they tell themselves they are not there of their own choice.

Yeah, it’s not like the trafficing that’s going on in Eastern Europe say, where these girls think they’re going to another country to be an Au pair(sp?) and they get there and have their Visa’s taken away and they’re put into prostitution with no way home.

I too saw a documentary on child prostitutes/runaways and many of them were from decent families with parents that tried to instill some discipline and impose reasonable restrictions. The kids didn’t want to live under their parents rules and have anybody tell them what to do. We all know you can’t say No! to a kid nowadays for fear of stifling their “genius” - or being charged with abuse.

A lot of these social engineers have a lot to answer for.
