Clyburn: Our “very introspective” caucus has concluded that Pelosi is blameless for the midterms

Let me just quote a bit here. New from CNN:

More money was spent and more commercials were run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in this midterm election cycle than against any other congressional leader since Newt Gingrich.

More than $65 million was spent on 161,203 ads that targeted Pelosi from January 1 through last week’s election, according to a new analysis of TV ads for CNN by Campaign Media Analysis Group…

The game plan by the GOP, individual campaigns, and independent groups that backed Republican candidates and causes, was simple: Tie as many Democratic incumbents and candidates to Pelosi, one of the most unpopular political figures in America right now. According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation national poll conducted the weekend before the midterms, only 26 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of the House Speaker, with 53 percent saying they had an unfavorable view of Pelosi.

Pelosi is just as much to blame as most Democrat politicians, leaders and pundits. They were all leading each other over the cliff. Making Pelosi the scapegoat would be hypocritical. And I think they’re aware of that.

I would like to personally thank Nancy. We couldn't have won 61+ seats without her...

I will hope she is as much help to Conservatives in 2012.

Just keep on doing what you do so well, Nan. Alienate everyone who can think.

“Her 7% favorable poll is just a myth”

Clyburn probably doesn’t understand percentages.

he figures that since he kept his seat, pelosi kept her seat and Barney kept his seat, that nothing actually happened.

It's tragic that someone can wreak so much havoc and then go home to her palatial estate happy and smiling.

This haridan won't lose a moment's sleep over the devastation she's authored.

She looks at the wasteland and she's glad she did it and she'll do it again.

Clyburn is delusional. He wandered across the Mall and thought he heard everybody shouting the "N word" at him.

Hmmm.

Nancy is simply evil.

So, the choice ~ Clyburn or Nancy, Nancy or Clyburn.

So many nutballs, so little choice!

I think Clyburn is exactly right. By all means the Dems should keep Pelosi as minority leader. They should keep her out front and before the cameras and microphones as much as possible. That’s the ticket.

” Our “very introspective” caucus “ is merely a way of saying “we have our heads up our arses”...

The Democrats appear to believe that the public is so stupid, they will swallow this nonsense. Of course Pelosi’s leadership was part of the reason the Democrats lost big in the House.
