This should be the job-killer. CFLs are junk based on junk science. If nanny-staters want to regulate our light bulbs, they would have been better off to wait for the development ofthe LED lights - much better technology and saves tons of energy.
But, that's beside the point. I don't want ANY nanny-staters in ANY "leadership" position, regardless of party affiliation!!
CFLs are a job killer. When you could get the American made brands they weren’t too bad. They lasted a long time and put out light that was nearly identical to the regular bulbs.
Along comes the EPA and regulates CFL production right out of existence in America. Those producers gained carbon credits for closing the factories, then sold those credits to China and sent production over there.
Works out perfectly and the only people who get screwed are the lowly consumers.
