I am no Bush fan but this hit piece smells to high heaven. Bush was not a great President but he is one of the most polite politicians we have ever seen and this whole smear piece is probably bullcrap.
People are far too fast to believe hit pieces like this with unnamed sources on both sides.

You are right, he was polite. He didn’t come out and criticize Palin. He said it in a private conversation. He should have the honesty to say he would never support a presidential candidate who was more conservative than John McCain.
Many hit pieces from here on out. Lots of freepers expect and demolish these hit pieces. Game is always afoot.
Normally, I would agree, that you shouldn’t jump to conclusions about stories like this. But we’ve let things go for too long. Time to back any and all Republicans into a corner.
