It is long past time to replace 75 year old Hatch with younger person...the same rule can be made across the entire legislative world in Washington.

If the Mormons would like to be seen as Christian to the rest of America, then they will have to unceremoniously boot this scalawag out of office before they can make progress with the rest of us. So, if the Mormons in Utah vote against Hatch, you and the rest of America will acknowledge them as Christians. Or is that just a first step?

If I remember correctly, Hatch voted for the DREAM Act. He won’t be missed.

Please, God, please see that Orrin will have more time to spend with his family.

Hatch should have left of his own volition long ago.
Since he doesn’t intend to leave voluntarily, he will have to be run out of town on a rail.
So be it.
I’m already looking forward to the 2012 primaries with anticipation.

Its time for him to go. What he did for Clarence Thomas is very commendable, but we need new blood. The key part is he's been there so long and feels entitled. Once that entitlement mentality sets in, so does the rotting process.
Time to retire, Orrin, one way or t'other.

You’re right, but even though he will probably act like a conservative for now, Joe Manchin, the guy who won that senate seat this time, still needs to be defeated in 2012. If Manchin gets re-elected in 2012, who knows what type of democrat he will be.
With all those other democrats and RINOs on the list that need to go, plus the presidential race, we will be very busy in 2012.
