Forty-six 'dangerous' terrorists go free from jail

The Daily Telegraph has learnt that concern over the release of a “significant” number of Islamic extremists has driven ministers to draw up rules for their supervision.

Probation officers have been issued with a “menu” of restrictions that can be placed on terrorists freed on licence. The curbs are understood to include orders to have contact with only Government-approved imams, not to visit certain mosques, not to associate with anyone with a criminal record and not to use computers.

According to Ministry of Justice figures, at least 20 convicted terrorists have been freed from jail this year after completing their sentences. Another 26 will be eligible for release over the next two years.

Amid warnings from security officials about the threat posed by freed extremists, the MoJ has issued probation officers with orders permitting significant limits on their clients’ freedom.

The Daily Telegraph has seen a copy of the MoJ document, marked “Restricted” and entitled The Management of Critical Public Protection Cases and Terrorist or Terrorist Related Offenders. It states: “There is now a small but significant number of terrorists being held in custody or managed on licence.

i dunno why they’re ever released? Attempted murder get high sentences. Isn’t it because the attempt was done on a battlefield so its treated differently by the justice department?

If this were the time from 1870-1960 that man would be in a box.

Agreed. Or if mercy was shown they would be breaking rocks at the dreaded prison in Portland, Dorset. Failing that, out on the moors in Dartmoor Prison. Hounds ready to run down escapees.

One can only yell from a far off land at the British authorities and use an elite accent one is not entitled to vis:

"Have you all gone stark, staring, raving mad"?

The utter contempt of these evil men for those who try to placate them with "mercy" can only be imagined.

The problem is racist white extreme Christians have “concern over the release of a “significant” number of Islamic extremists.” Don’t ask how many we will never admit it so let’s just say “at least 20 convicted terrorists have been freed” and even though we did this to you “Amid warnings from security officials about the threat posed by freed extremists” We wrote a cool, multicultural wonder of the ages book and yes it has pictures! “This instruction ensures that processes to manage offenders who pose a risk of harm to the public or whose cases pose complex management issues are effectively configured to meet the challenges of managing terrorist offenders.” So as you can see this is much better than jailing or deporting them and we can count on our version of the TSA and Dept. of Corrections to do it without error. - sarc

serious and responsible counter-terrorism would include the DEATH penalty for all convicted terrorists

every western govt has been subverted from within by flaccid dishonest liberalism posing as “human rights” b.s.
