Not only that, but there is no reason why we still need all those troops in Western Europe. let the Europeans provide their own defense for once. Having Japan and India helping to check China would create less of a need for as many troops in Asia as well. We need to do a security review and decide where we can cut back without jeopardizing security.

To be honest, the main reason we have our bases in Western Europe is so that we can more rapidly deploy troops to the Middle East, should it be necessary. After all, it’s a lot closer than deploying/supplying them from the States.
