House Democrats "didn't get the message" from last Tuesday's election if they re-elect Nancy Pelosi as Democratic Party leader next year, the expected No. 2 Republican in the House said Sunday.

and they never will..
When your opponents insist of deluding themselves, don’t interfere.
I’ll bet there’s going to be some pretty nasty behind closed door shouting matches between Hoyer’s team and Pelosi’s team - they’re gonna have to bring the men in white jackets to restrain the wicked witch of the west.
And we are shocked that they did not get the message....NOT!
I agree. Being a Lame duck session, I tend to think the ‘old ways liberal dems’ will be pushing their last hurrah’s (so to speak) ... wanting to pass their not yet complete ‘wish List’ of “progressive socialist” legislation.
Then let the new Congress and the American people deal with it ... while they get cushy high paying lobbyist jobs with their cronies.
she is the gift that keeps on giving. Keep her
Ya’ll need to Twitter, Facebook, email Congressman Cantor and inform him WE THE PEOPLE want no compromise.
Elections have consequences and WE THE PEOPLE won.
Precisely.
Eric Cantor and his colleagues should concentrate on the wishes of the American voters, NOT the lunacy of the DemocRATs.
Cantor better get a brain if he thinks they will.
The battle is engaged, and the so-called "progressives" are not about to yield power or compromise their entrenched Mao/Marx/Alinsky beliefs without testing the strength of their new opponents.
After all, they believe they are intellectually superior beings who are exceptionally qualified to decide for or against the liberty of their fellow citizens.
"Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak; and that it is doing God service, when it is violating all His laws. Our passions, ambition, avarice, love, resentment, etc., possess so much metaphysical subtlety, and so much overpowering eloquence, that they insinuate themselves into the understanding and the conscience, and convert both to their party." - John Adams to Thomas Jefferson, February 2, 1816
Pelosi and her tone-deaf leader expect that this generation of Americans, once fooled, will continue to compromise away their freedom.
They must be confronted with the same "firm resolve" as was possessed by that first band of liberty lovers in 1776. If the Taxed Enough Already movement continues its relearning of the principles of its Declaration and Constitution, then it can make 2012 the year when the progressive philosophy will be exposed for what it was: a failed attempt to impose the tyranny of the few over a once-great bastion of liberty in the world.
I see WaPo has Jim Clyburn voting with a majority of his Democratic colleagues 98.5% of the time during the current Congress.
Hey Alvin Greene wants to know if Jim Clyburn is a GOP plant???
I am less concerned as to whether the democrats got the message as I am as to whether the republicans got it and will heed it.
Something tells me we will have to keep after them constantly to keep them in line.
What a great John Adams quote. So appropriate for this administration.

Eric.... STFU!!!
Let the Dems put Pelosi back at the front. Let them continue to show how arrogant and out-of-touch they are.
“When your enemy is destroying himself, the best thing to do is stay out of his way.” Or something...
It was the end of the Cantor interview that needed watching.
Chris asked him if the TEA Party incoming freshman deserved any leadership posts and he effectively danced around the question. When pressed it was pretty obvious he was a good old boy Republican and the TEA Party conservatives would be shut out if he had his say.
