The Republican in line to lead the House Budget Committee acknowledged Sunday that the GOP is unlikely to get a repeal of a Democratic-backed health care law because President Obama can veto it, but said House Republicans will move forward on a vote anyway.
Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin said Republicans have some opportunities to slow the advance of the Democratic plan by defunding actual rollouts, but acknowledged the president would have to sign that legislation.
Cognizant of missing a presidential signature, Republicans are still looking at court challenges and other congressional maneuvers to stop enactment of elements of the law.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who appeared with Ryan on "Fox News Sunday," said in his capacity as the next House oversight committee chairman he is looking at alternative ways to stop the health care law, including preventing "administration earmarks."

I hope this gets done quickly.
Your way too nice. My motto:
REPEAL AND DEREGULATE. Get Govt completely out of health care. There the ones that have interfered with the free market system and caused higher costs.
Ryan and Cantor are very impressive.
Obama is up to his ass with the new leadership.
This is why it is vital that the Tea Party Republicans in the House get in, at the very start, to the house Rules and Appropriations Committees.
Right now, Obamacare is bailed up with lots of other stuff in a giant appropriations bill. It is up to Rules and Appropriations to separate it from those bills, and give the stuff we want to get rid of its own bill.
Once that is done, then they can vote for the good stuff, which Obama will sign, and has no reason *not* to sign. And then they don’t even to vote for the much smaller bills containing what they don’t want. By doing *nothing*, at that point, they win. And it won’t matter what the senate and the president do. Whatever is in that small bill will cease to exist.
But the Tea Party people must act very soon, because if the “old guard” Republicans get control of Rules and Appropriations, they will just niggle down what Obama wants by “nickels and dimes” instead of the guillotine.
Don’t raise the debt limit.
Defund all totalitarian projects NOW. Defund all totalitarian collectives NOW.
Life, liberty and the pursuit and destruction of totalitarians.
2) Pass a bill that says any state is free to ignore any and all provisions of Obamacare.
The first thing that should happen is that all projected debt we have as a nation is eliminated by cutting the federal government agencies, selling properties, etc, even if it means
all there is left are old roads with pot holes...and the military..no Nasa expenditures, no wuuusy attempts to placate the public, slah and burn sale, no more IRS, no more dept of education..you get the idea...if we still want to be America, and not all sitting by the old roads singing come o america and feeeeel allright, smoking crappy weed like Jamaica.....I want to see some ass kickin pissed off represenatives with nads of iron that resemble some of the beast in revelations, all else were screwed...future headlines all were to pussy to ride that horse in the right direction , thus America fell..

The Republicans should immediately pass an amendment to the bill stating that members of Congress, the Executive and Judicial Branches, their families and staff are not exempt from any provision of the bill.
Make the amendment irrevocable.
Let's see the Democrats vote against that amendment.
Let's see Obama veto that provision.
Once the politicians realize that they too will have to be put into the same healthcare situations as the rest of us, once they realize that they too are subject to the bill's Death Panels, they will kill it in a New York nanosecond.

Send a strong message to the other branches YOU'RE NEXT...
THEN do it... slash and burn, prune the vine, streamline, modernize, revamp, make tidy, groom, apple pie order, spic and span, clean-cut, police, cut-back, dock, eliminate, exclude, gut, knock off, lop, pare down, reduce, shape, shave, shear, shorten, skive, snip, thin, get to the meat, put in a nutshell, reduce, summarize, take out, trim...

Excellent! I forgot about that. When the Reps tried to add that amendment during the health care debate, the Dems either wouldn't even allow a vote on it or voted it down. Now the Reps are back in charge they need to put it back in.
Great thinking!
