...one law enforcement officer, speaking on condition that his name not be used, told The Brownsville Herald that the two-day toll easily passed 100...
A Texas businesswoman, who was in Matamoros running errands, reported being in the downtown area when a shootout erupted just a block away. The woman reported hearing machine guns and over 20 seconds of continuous grenade explosions... Another woman said that while she was walking near the Pumarejo General Hospital in Matamoros, she saw a truck with armed gunmen collide with an SUV carrying a family. The woman stated that the impact rolled the SUV on its side. She said at least two gunmen got out of their vehicle and fired on the SUV as well as on a military helicopter that was chasing them. The woman said she was also fired upon as she ran for cover but was not struck.
You would think we were in Iraq or in a movie, she said. Everyone was scared, gunfire everywhere, panic and chaos.
A man who was in the downtown area reported seeing a group of armed men take over a pecera a type of bus and order the driver to park it in a way that would block the street. As soon as the driver stopped the vehicle, the man heard a single shot. After the gunmen left, the man took a closer look and saw that the driver had been shot in the head.

Agreed, see my post #17. Perry needs to loudly and forcefully keep this front and center. His press office knows how to get attention. It’s time to make this a national issue and it’s time to tell Obama to either send the Army or we’ll take care of this ourselves. I bet Jan Brewer would join him.
No, but it's the projectile range which extends over the US/Mexico border that's the problem. The campus is a few hundred feet or a couple blocks from the border. Basically, there's just Hwy 77 (aka University Blvd.) separating it from the river. Last year, bullets hit the campus buildings and cars in the parking lot so the campus was closed. Our Commander in Chief is on vacation while our children are in danger.
Hablo AR-15?
Charming. Many nazi groups do the same thing.
Just spray the border area on the Mexican side with a persistent (And I mean *persistent*) nerve agent. Repeat as needed.
There is no civil war, this is a battle between fiefdoms, ignoring it is dumbest thing we can do.
We should establish a strong border and allow them to work out the internals, otherwise it will beat all our back doors not just mine in New Mexico.
“Why doesn’t he order Texas National Guard troops to secure the border?”
define secure?
do you think the federal government would allow a state ruled militia to shoot at illegals trying to sneak in?
That would be the best way. Just start shooting any caught sneaking in but libs would go crazy.
So what could the state do if it caught illegals? If 0dumbo would sue a state over passing a law to enforce federal law what would happen if a state started detaining illegals on its own?
In mohammedland, hoisting the WH crescent moon a little higher.

The womens soccer final will take place at 5 p.m. and the mens soccer final will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at the Brownsville Sports Park.
I can only assume that the Sports Park is well away from the border.
“The woman reported hearing machine guns and over 20 seconds of continuous grenade explosions...”
Isn’t it the constant drone from poli-crooks on both sides of the border that the guns are all coming from U.S. gun stores?
I am in my favorite gun stores fairly regularly and have yet to be able to buy or even see a machine gun or hand grenade.
The libs better get control of this situation or they are going to lose that part of their lying message.
Now, now, you know Gov. Goodhair only talks tough about border security during elections and that ended last Tuesday. We voted him in office for another four years. That's another four years of open borders. He hasn't done a blessed thing to stop this for eight years, so why should he start now.
Is anyone surprised?
Hispanics voted 2 to 1 for leftist Jerry Brown in California, in support of Meg Whitman's illegal alien maid.
How many Texas business owners employ illegal aliens?
Do a search for Mexican drug cartel marijuana fields in US federal and state parks in Oregon. Park officials know they're there but only issue warnings to hikers and campers not to stray too far off the beaten path or they'll get killed by the cartel guards.
Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
I don’t get this. Isn’t a President supposed to PROTECT the US? And, if THE president doesn’t do squat to protect this country, isn’t that grounds for impeachment? Then, why aren’t WE acting?
So when does the political asylum start?
So true and that’s what worries me. Somebody posted an article yesterday saying the State legislature is going to take up this issue when they convene. Not sure what they can do though without starting an international incident. Not that I care if Mexico or Washington is upset. Look at all the outrage Jan Brewer got when she dared imply we should ask these people if they belong here.
Why don't we just bomb their compounds? Bomb them to smithereens!
Ferrrget it.
Illegal aliens are dropping nearly 1000 babies per month at Parkland Hospital in Dallas....At just one single Texas hospital....You know, the "conservative" state....
Yes, it's about 2 1/2 miles from the border, as the crow bullet flies.
