I agree. On Sept 12 I would have drawn a big circle in the desert outside of Kabul and said: "Bin Laden. Here. You have 24 hours or you start losing a city an hour, starting with this one, until you comply." Now *that's* lateral thinking. I like it a lot.

Everyone and their dog knew who was responsible that minute. Not nuking mecca and medina has gone down as one of the wortst mistakes in history.

According to this, to GWB, the 3rd was war:
“The first plane could have been an accident. The second was definitely an attack. The third was a declaration of war,”

Whatever his other failings, this is why I like and respect Dubya. He wanted to protect his fellow Americans from being attacked, and was prepared to do so by any means necessary. I always felt safe when he was President. Now, not so much.

And he came so close! Or not.

That picture on the bottom says it all about President Bush. Nothing fake about that.

You are such a bleeding heart liberal. Why stop at Afghanistan? My thoughts were, NUKE: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and to clean up the gene pool, France.
Serious, we needed to let people know you don’t attack America without consequences.

And you don’t know jack about what I do or don’t know; seems like the one prerequisite for participation on this site is pretense. God is also love and He gave up His only Son for us out of love, not wrath; perhaps you are focusing too much on one and not enough on the other.

Yes, it was definitely an idiot moment on my part, sigh.

I met GWB several times, He was a solid kind of guy. He would take no crap from anyone. He also said what he meant. If you didn’t like it, tough titties.

You are such a bleeding heart liberal. Why stop at Afghanistan? My thoughts were, NUKE: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and to clean up the gene pool, France. Now that you mention it, I'm trying to figure out why we shouldn't *start* with France.
That would send a really excellent message: Don't harbor Muslims. Don't screw us over. Take a shower.
Yes, take a shower. Decontamination showers would become a good habit.

I couldn't agree with you more!
We should abolish all these stupid rules of engagement and let out military do what they are designed to do, kill people and break things.
We need to have a shot gun approach. Collateral damage is unfortunate, but after enough of it the bastards will surrender. This targeted approach is pure idiocy. Just like targeted tax cuts. What a bunch of BS.
