Many are still living with multi-generational social damage inflicted by the welfare system, aided in the public sphere by narcissistic and hedonistic arts and media industries that celebrate single-parenthood and promiscuity.

Of course many in the arts and media that support that celebration have the financial wherewithal to support the problems from it should they incur those problems; which at the least demonstrates their "social" irresponsibility, by what to many of us is their moral irresponsibility. No that doesn't excuse the moral responsibility of their less fortunate peers who followed the arts and media icons in their folly.
