I swear I’m gonna stop reading these so-called ‘leaks’ from President Bush’s book.
The media is scouring the book for anything they can take out of context to make him look bad.
Most of us here on Free Republic aren’t falling for it, but, alas, too many are.
A media obsessed and desperate to get back some sort of relevancy....as they fade into the pages of obscurity...
Katrina was a mess made by Blanco, Nagin and the media. Period. Bush gave them several days warning and practically begged Blanco to declare a state of emergency so he COULD send in the national guard. She dragged her feet and Nagin stood around with one finger up his nose while pointing the other hand at every one but himself and his crybaby Police Chief. (whatever his name was) Meanwhile..the media pimped every single black person they could find... with a sob story and grievance against "tha man".
Elections have consequences and I guess Louisiana found that out in a big way. Unfortunately... we all continue to pay the price for their incompetence.
