Yeah, i root for them except when they play the Bucks. Unfortunately my end of the state is turning more and more blue due to proximity to Illinois and unions. People are nice and cost of living is reasonable. Also, because we got hammered back in the 80’s when the ag/construction implement business took a hit - again unions cutting their nose off to spite their face - the economy diversified enough that we have not felt the pain other parts of the country have felt - but i’m afraid our time is coming.

Well, hopefully the Tea Party/Republican/Conservative congressmen can put in stopgap measures to halt the leftist decline of the economy, and the Bush era prosperity can return.

It's rough here in Ohio, which is why we turned bright red last Tuesday. Hopefully things will start turning around all over.

(I have a brother who lived in Forest City for a number of years. They loved Iowa).
