Global warming is a proven historical fact. Every previous ice age was ended by global warming. The cycle of ice age repeats every 10 to 20 thousand years.
So to deny global warming is not only ignorant, it is stupid.
What is not at all certain or proven is that global warming is man made.
However, to say that it is man-made** is much more ignorant and to destroy our freedoms and our economies when so-called “science” of AGW has been shown over and over again to be a hoax is WAY stupider.

It's been shown that other planets have heated when the Earth has heated and cycle of the Sun follow warming on the Earth.

That we live on a planet with a wobbly orbit around a variable star would seem to be a given - but there's no watermelon factor to be had. Can't sue or tax the designer.

The normal temperature of the earth have no ice caps.
Oh another funny point. The earth is at a near all time now of CO2 100 ppm less and plants stop growing out of an average of about 3000 ppm.
By 'Global Warming', Gore and the others weren't referring to any cyclical behavior, but proposing a change that was out of all historical norms, and had a positive feedback loop through anthropogenic C02 that would burn up the world.
The warming from 1970 to 2000 has been matched in the historical record for rate and duration, and there is no positive feedback loop as measured by the last 30 years of satellite data.
So on the short scales (day, year, decade, century), you might measure warming and cooling, but that's not what Gore was talking about.
And if you believe that it's warmed in the last 10 years, you are wrong.
