Okay this is weird. He gets canned for making campaign donations? I don’t see this as anyones business really unless, it is in a contract.
Now if they would have told the truth and said he was canned for the election night broadcast of a joke with Matthews and Maddow-this makes sense. But I guess that sounds funny so they pulled this reason out of their butts.

He’s one of my least favorite people on the planet but this seems unfair to me...if the stated reason is what’s *really* behind this action. It doesn’t make sense considering that he doesn’t claim to be unbiased. On the contrary, isn’t it his job to be vocal about his biases? I thought that’s what they were paying him for. Maybe they were just looking for an “out” so they used what amounts to a technicality to put him aside.

This amounts to a sacrifice by the left. Olbermann’s head on a pike was a necessary first step. The thing is, he was a throwaway piece to begin with. Dems don’t think this is going to be enough do they? I wouldn’t start talking until they gave us the name of two cabinet level departments that would legislated out of existence in 2 years.
