Same media that hid a tidbit on Ted Kennedy for years.
After his death it became more well known that Ted liked to hear, and then collect, Chappaquidic jokes.

"
a Republican official familiar with Bush's thinking told the Daily News."
In other words, their source is a two-bit carny mind reader.

Sarah Palin was the ONLY reason I voted for McCain. Palin is more qualified than any Bush was or ever will be. I always despised the Bushs. The whole clan are a bunch of New England blue-blooded elitist mushy moderate yankee pukes. They disgust me almost as much as that pathetic and cowardly abortionist named Mitt Romney.

And Dubya choosing Harriet Myers for Supreme Court was a wise move? These guys should watch who they confide in.

I believe as the publisher of this article IS the uncredible (IMO) NY Daily News, and there are no sources referenced by the “journalist” that this article is bullshit.

This must be the MSM and dem tactic for 2012. Create a war in the GOP to split the party.
If we are smart, we will wait for GWB to weigh in and not fall prey to anonymous sources.

When it comes to ‘not ready’ whatever that means in light of President No. 44, does Bush ever reflect on his own desire to drive us into bankruptcy? If not for the spending proclivities on Bush and the Republican boys in the Congress, we might have been spared the last two years.

got to love those anonymous sources...
sounds like they're trying to drag G.W. Bush back into the fray... since they've been unsuccessful at advising the American people that everything that's happening is Bush's fault.
Heck... Obambi's even blaming Clinton for the present Democratic Party loses.

I don’t buy it when they start with “he told friends”... Did the conversation even occur? Who are these friends? How long ago? Has he changed the opinions since then?

I doubt Bush would say that, especially because of what his father went through by choosing Dan Quayle as a running mate.

If this is true... then I will sever all ties to the republican party and the Bush family forever. I gave much time and way more money to Bush than I should have... went to Florida and fought for him... if this is true... we need to go ahead and start another party... sometimes the rot makes starting over the only viable choice. I pray this is not true but you know... I can almost guarantee you that it is true. Palin is more qualified today than Bush was in 2000... and I think she may be more qualified than Bush ever was... both him and his daddy.

Attributing this to an anonymous “Republican official” makes it a non-story. Anyone can make up a story attacking Sarah Palin, and they have. Apparently, the old moss backs in the GOP are scared spitless of her and the TEA Party. It serves them right for being “Democrat Lite” all these years.

Clinton + Bush 1 + Bush 2 = current mess. All the above should shut their traps.

Well, for two days since the election, the Libs have been trying hard to figure out what they can blame on Bush again. All in order to try and weaken the GOP. Finding it scary that Palin might become a candidate for 2010, they are slinging at her now by claiming that Bush didn’t think she was qualified, and McCain made a mistake picking her. They think they wounded two birds with one stone with this article, which is probably phony. And, be sure, if Obama does not run for a second term, it will be blamed on you-know-who.
