Did ANY candidate who won run on a platform loudly pushing for MORE gun control?

No Paul, the Dems lost because their policies run counter to the Constitution, like yours. And because they suck, like you. And we are just fed up.

Nearly 60 percent of the Democratic incumbents who lost had received an “A” rating from the NRA. ...Meanwhile, 98 percent of Democrats running for re-election who co-sponsored our immediate legislative priority — closing the loophole that allows private sellers to sell guns without Brady criminal background checks — appear to have retained their seats.

What a shock. Democrats who lost seem to have been disproportionately from more conservative districts.

Therefore, obviously, had they offended their constituents even more by favoring gun control they would have won.

LOL! I agree! This is the perfect time for the remaining Rats in Congress to launch a major anti-gun jihad!

Moving more to the more reflective side of things, if a major anti-gun organization gave a presser in the forest and no one showed up, would there be any sound?

Sounds like panic time at the Brady’s VPC.

Why do I carry concealed? Because carrying a cop is too heavy.

The majority of American voters (regardless of party) support common sense legislation that saves lives and helps keep us safe.

Exactly, we have the Constitution. If it were followed it would save lives from being wasted with bureaucracy and would keep us safe from government tyranny.

America runs away with the disturbing distinction of having the highest rate of gun deaths among high-income countries. We lose more than 30,000 men, women, and children each year because of gun deaths – and that’s in addition to the 80,000 or so non-fatal gun injuries inflicted each year.

Well if you calculate out the black and hispanic elements in the statistics America is down right peaceful

In addition I saw that over 60% of the victims were criminals with records of 5 or more arrests

Har har. Any movie set in the 70’s should have a cameo of this guy blathering. It would set the tone as definitively as Afro hairstyles, platform shoes, and mirror balls.

It won’t be easy for either side, but if there is one thing the new Congress and President Obama ought to agree on, it’s that gun violence victims (like Fifty-seven-year-old Gregory Thompson of New Castle) deserve their support, their leadership, and their determination.

I love how they define their samples. Our rate is especially high among countries whose name begins with "A" and have seven letters. OMG, we DO need gun control!

They certainly do!

How ‘bout a National “Comprehensive” Open Carry Anywhere / Concealed Carry Must Issue / Castle Doctrine / Stand Your Ground / Make Crime Dangerous For Criminals Act that overrides all the state and local victim disarmament and criminal protection ordinances?

Repealing the 1968 Gun Control act would be nice, too.
