Senate (Reid + Angle): 682,651 Governor (R. Reid + Sandoval): 664,520
That's a difference of 18,131. 18,131 voters purportedly voted in the Senate race but not for governor.
I'm getting these numbers from here.
And there’s a stark discrepancy in the numbers for governor vs senator in Clark County:
ANGLE, SHARRON REPUBLICAN 192257 41.35
REID, HARRY DEMOCRAT 252749 54.36
REID, RORY DEMOCRAT 217113 46.96
SANDOVAL, BRIAN REPUBLICAN 224751 48.61
No way, Jose, did Republican voters split their votes that way for slimeball Dirty Harry.
That’s a difference of 18,131. 18,131 voters purportedly voted in the Senate race but not for governor.
Only programming can do this kind of weirdness, after the votes are cast but before the results of each machine are returned.
No combination of crooked election judges, clerks and voters can create this insane artifact.
Nevada has the option of “None of the Above” on the ballots. I don’t think that would be counted, ie., 18,131 people may have voted “None of the Above”
