i.e. Chris Christie and Jeb Bush have said NO - so who would they prefer/support and why?
Not sure thats the best approach, most are going to choose people that they were or are friends with or close to or who can best return the favor of helping them out in their states now....
For example, Mike Pence has said he would support Mitch Daniels if Daniels runs (they are both from Indiana)....
I didn’t say it was a fool-proof approach - and yours is a good cautionary comment.
